This large, slouchy vintage Hermès Kelly 32 is glorious in handsome Burgundy Box calfskin! It’s paired with gold-tone feet and hardware and a turnlock that twists open to reveal a burgundy-leather lining with one zipped and two slide pockets inside. It has a single rolled handle with a 3.25-inch drop and, unlike newer models, this Kelly does not come with a leather shoulder strap. In fair condition and stamped with a K in a circle, it has marks everywhere on the leather, scratches on the metal, cracking at the top edges, wear on the corners, edges, inside, and on the leather at the top of the bag, needs a light airing out, and needs a spa visit. The handle has been replaced and is a different color than the bag, the clasp hardware looks like it was replaced, and it has a new lock and key but no clochette. Despite this laundry list, today’s Box leather can’t hold a candle to the skin this Kelly was crafted with some 40-odd years ago!
